Vathi (Samos Town)

Although it is the capital and the largest port of the island, Vathy retains the character of a picturesque settlement, especially in its old town, Ano Vathy. Here you will find traditional tiled houses, narrow winding streets, and wonderful views of the harbor. The city center is bustling with life, with museums, shops, restaurants, and cafes.

Pythagorion

Built on the southeastern side of the island, Pythagorion is a historic port and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was named after the ancient philosopher Pythagoras. It is a cosmopolitan village with a beautiful pedestrian street by the sea, many restaurants, bars and shops. Important archaeological finds are found here, such as the Eupaline Tunnel and the Temple of Hera.

Kokkari

One of the most popular and photographed villages of Samos, Kokkari is located on the north coast and is built amphitheatrically around a small bay. It is characterized by its picturesque cobblestone streets, colorful houses, traditional taverns and atmospheric cafes that reach down to the sea. It is ideal for evening walks and romantic dinners.

Marathokampos

A picturesque mountain village on the southwest side of Samos, built amphitheatrically on the slopes of Mount Kerki. It offers stunning views of the Aegean and is ideal for those seeking tranquility and authenticity. From here, many hiking trails start to the peaks of Kerki and the secluded beaches of the area. It has traditional cafes and taverns.
